A private chauffeur is chosen before arriving, often from a phone.
YHY Switzerland drives from Geneva to Switzerland, the Alps and Europe, in business since 2013. Clients often book from an airport, on their phone, sometimes in English. We built a site in three languages that announces the price before departure, puts call, WhatsApp and book within thumb's reach, and only switches on the booking module once the visitor has agreed.
The project in detail
The context
YHY Switzerland has been driving private clients out of Geneva since 2013: the airport, Alpine resorts, railway stations, corporate travel and long distances across Europe. Enquiries came in by phone and WhatsApp. Every quote was written out by hand, and a foreign client had no page to read before calling.
The problem to solve
The typical client books from an airport or a hotel, on a phone, often in a hurry and rarely in French. They want three answers before anything else: how much it costs, who is picking them up, and how to reach someone right away. A transport website that hides its price loses the race against an app.
What we built
A full website in French, English and Spanish. Rates for the usual destinations appear on the home page, Geneva to Courchevel, Gstaad, Montreux, Annecy, Lyon or Milan. The fleet is shown by number of passengers rather than by model. A fixed bar at the bottom of the screen keeps call, WhatsApp and book under the thumb. The booking form sits at the top of the home page, not at the end of a menu.
The technical detail
Each language has its own folder and its own addresses, so it is indexed separately instead of being translated on the fly. The service and the area covered are described in structured data. The booking module comes from an outside provider: it sets cookies, so it only loads once the visitor has agreed, and the site works fully without it.
The outcome
A site that answers the price question before it is asked, that reads the same in English as in French, and from which a client can call in one gesture at three in the morning in an airport hall.

What this project taught us.
Showing the price is a sales decision
A transfer to a ski resort is compared in seconds. Publishing the rate costs a few clients who were after something cheaper, and wins more who no longer have to call to ask.
The thumb before the mouse
The visitor is standing, with a suitcase, sometimes using one hand. Call, WhatsApp and book stay visible at the bottom of the screen throughout the visit.
Three languages, three folders
English and Spanish live at their own addresses rather than inside an automatic translator: that is the only way to show up on searches made in those languages.
An outside tool does not run the site
The booking module belongs to a provider and sets cookies. It loads after consent, and the site stays usable without it: a visitor who declines still has the phone and the quote form.
A ride is sold on certainty
Fixed price confirmed before departure, flight tracking, one hour of waiting included, free cancellation: these promises are worth more than a picture of a car. They are spelled out on the site, because that is what the client compares.
